Black Friday Means 14th Annual “Coats For Kids” Charity
Virginia Safari Park Hosts Largest Charity Drive Yet!
Natural Bridge, VA—November 20, 2015—Virginia Safari Park is planning the largest turnout for their “Coats for Kids” charity drive event on Black Friday, November 27, 2015. This day will mark their 14th annual “Coats for Kids” drive, in which Virginia Safari Park donates their entire day’s proceeds to purchase new winter coats for children in need in the Rockbridge County area.
“Thanks to strong community support, we have been able to provide new winter coats for Rockbridge area school children in need year after year” said Eric Mogensen, CEO of Virginia Safari Park. “One day really can make a big difference in our area, and, of course spending Black Friday at the Safari Park is just a fun way to give back to the community and support a good cause.” This event continues to have a strong cumulative impact on the community and has delivered over 2,000 coats to area school children to date!
Virginia Safari Park is a 180 acre drive-thru adventure, with over 1,000 animals from around the world. The Park is open daily from Mid-March until late November, Conveniently located just off I-81, exit 180/180B, admission tickets are $17.95 for adults, $11.95 for children.
