Natural Bridge, VA – June 29, 2016 – It's that time of year again! Virginia Safari Park is calling shutterbugs of all ages to enter their photos in the official 2016 Safari Shots Photo Contest. With thousands of animals, Virginia Safari Park's diverse wildlife and interactive animal experiences create the perfect backdrop for any photographer. Snap funny family pictures or the perfect animal poses. Scenery, silly faces and animal antics are encouraged. So pack up those cameras and head to the Park for your chance to win a family 4 pack of season passes or other exciting "safari" prizes!
Starting July 1, you can submit up to 5 photos online, based on category.
Youth: Photos taken and submitted by any person 12 years old and younger.
Adult: Photos taken and submitted by any person 13 years old and older.
Cell Phone: Photos taken and submitted by a person of any age, taken with a cellular device.
The Safari Shots Photo Contest is open to photographers of all ages and experience levels. Each entry will be ranked overall in its entrant category based on the following criteria: composition and nature of the subject matter; clarity of the shot; and unique ability to capture the Virginia Safari Park experience. But don't wait too long! August 31st is the last day to submit those photos for a chance at the grand prizes.
