Coats for Kids

Join us on Black Friday, November 24, 2023!

This day marks the 22nd Annual Coats for Kids! A long-standing tradition, Virginia Safari Park will donate the proceeds from admission sales to purchase new winter coats for children in need in the Rockbridge County area.

During the past 21 years, Coats for Kids has delivered more than 3,000 coats and continues to have a strong cumulative impact on the local community.

After the Black Friday turnout at the Park, the new coats will be purchased, wrapped and delivered by the Safari Park staff to each school by mid-December, just before Christmas break.
